what is imo.im?
imo.im is a web-based service that allows users to hold text, voice, and video chats on multiple instant messaging protocols. Currently supported protocols include AIM/ICQ, Facebook, Google Talk, Hyves, Jabber, MSN, MySpace, Skype, Steam, Yahoo Messenger and VKontakte. The service is free and requires no user-registration or sign-up.
You can instant message your friends on these networks. It will also display buddy lists and your buddies' away messages and status, and keeps them separated through the various groups already set up through each of your accounts. You can link your messaging services together, so that you just need to log into one to access them all.
imo.im also lets you consolidate your instant messaging and chatting sources
into one app. It’s available for iOS, Android and BlackBerry users. You can use it with contacts from AIM/ICQ, Facebook, Google Talk, Hyves, Jabber, MSN, MySpace, Skype, Steam, Yahoo Messenger and VKontakte.
